This Cookie Notice explains how Norian uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit norian.ai or use the Norian application. For questions, contact us at privacy@norian.ai.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — and help us understand how people use our service.
We use two categories of cookies:
These cookies are required for the Norian application to function. Without them you cannot log in or use the service. They are set automatically and cannot be disabled without breaking the service. They do not require your consent under EU law.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|

sb-refresh-token | Supabase | Allows session refresh without re-authenticating | 30 days |

These cookies help us understand how users interact with Norian so we can improve the product. They are only set after you give consent via the cookie banner.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_* | PostHog | Tracks anonymised usage events and feature interactions | 1 year |
ph_distinct_id | PostHog | Assigns an anonymised identifier to distinguish sessions | 1 year |
PostHog analytics are processed on EU-hosted infrastructure (eu.i.posthog.com). No email addresses or names are sent to PostHog — only anonymised account IDs and usage events. If you decline analytics cookies, PostHog is never initialised and no analytics data is collected for your session.
We do not use advertising cookies, targeting cookies, social media tracking cookies, or any cookies that track your behaviour across other websites.
You can control analytics cookies via the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit to norian.ai. You can change your preferences at any time by:
If you decline analytics cookies, you can still use all features of Norian — only anonymous usage tracking will be disabled.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete all cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to Norian.
Browser-specific instructions:
Some browsers send a Do Not Track (DNT) signal. We do not currently respond to DNT signals as there is no uniform industry standard for doing so. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will update this notice accordingly.
We will update this notice if we add or remove cookies. The version date at the top indicates when it was last reviewed. Material changes will be communicated via our privacy policy update process at norian.ai/privacy-policy.
For full details on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy. For questions about cookies, contact privacy@norian.ai.
